Monieca is a Toronto painter who came from a family of fine artists and teachers and has supplemented her artistic skills through art courses and workshops given by prominent Canadian artists. Her passion and studies of the spiritual as well as the arts have opened up a new playing field of experimentation on the leading edge of painting with non-physical artists.
She has been a member of several art societies and has participated in numerous solo, group, and juried art exhibitions. Her paintings can be found in private collections in North America as well as abroad.
Artist's Statement
"As a spiritual and interpretive contemporary visual artist, my intention is to inspire, uplift, and radiate the vibration of joy and new possibilities. Many of my paintings are co-creations with such artistic masters as Matisse, Van Gogh, Modigliani, and Picasso.
Working in this way is an honour and a privilege, as well as a joyful experience of blending my own expressive style with theirs, and I have truly learned that anything is possible."
